On Saturday 14 April Viral Radio will celebrate its 5 year anniversary. We are delighted to announce that Hyperdub doom futurists Hype WIlliams, who will release their new album on 16 April, will perform live for the very first time at Viral Radio.
We are equally looking forward to the return of Vladislav Delay to the Bimhuis. Not only did the Finnish drummer and electronic omnivore perform at the first Viral Radio Festival in 2008 with the Moritz von Oswald Trio, he was the very first artist to perform on our night at the Bimhuis in November 2006, a wee few months before Viral Radio was conceived.
Friends of Viral Radio wil create special DJ sets with some of their favourite music of the past 5 years. Amongst them are Knalpot (both Raphael and Gerri), Machinefabriek, Radna Rumping, Michiel van Iersel and Viral Radio founder Juha. We would like to thank everybody for giving us 5 incredible years, and we look forward to seeing all of you at the Bimhuis on 14 April.
