And those are just some of the Smokey hits that Smokey sang—Marvin Gaye ("Ain't That Peculiar," "I'll Be Doggone"), The Temptations ("My Girl, "The Way You Do the Things You Do"), and the Four Tops ("Still Water (Love)"), and other Motown greats propelled an abundance of sparkling Smokey Robinson compositions up the charts.

Actor and Comedian Sinbad arrived on the scene with a “ hit’em in the face” style of comedy that has kept audiences laughing in the aisles for over the past two decades. Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time, Sinbad is internationally known for his starring appearances in hit movies like Jingle All the Way, opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger; Houseguest co-starring the late Phil Hartman, and his film debut in Necessary Roughness. Over the years, Sinbad has drawn legions of fans from his HBO highly-rated comedy specials; Brain Damaged (1991), Afros & Bellbottoms (1993), Son of a Preacher Man (1996), and Nuthin But The Funk (1998). His HBO music concert series Sinbad’s 70’s Soul Music Festival received the prestigious NAACP Image Award consecutively for two years as the “Most Outstanding Variety Series/Special”. Sinbad has also starred in the television sitcom A Different World, his own series, The Sinbad Show. More recently Sinbad has been seen on the Showtime series Resurrection Blvd., FX Network’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and as a contestant on third season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice. The comedian’s long awaited stand-up special aired on Comedy Central in February of 2010 and his reality show, Sinbad: It’s Just Family aired this past season on WE tv.

This evening of music and comedy will be a great night out at the Mann, one of the highlights of the season!
