Featuring sonatas of Bach for violin and viola da gamba, the works of great master J.S. Bach take center stage. Written during his time in the court of Cothen, Germany, the program will draw from the treasure trove of Bach’s chamber music - some of the most intricately written chamber music ever written. The program will include Bach’s 3rd sonata for viola da gamba and harpsichord as well as the 6th sonata for violin and harpsichord.
