Prime Numbers label head Trus'me makes his Flash debut, alongside the Italian maestro Mass Prod who is making a triumphant return to our club. This will be the Circoloco resident's third performance at Flash, with the previous two being nothing short of incredible. The parties have really gone off each time with the unique hedonistic Circoloco vibe that he brings to the table.

Trus'Me is a veteran DJ with over a decade's worth of experience behind the decks and in the studio. His latest sound can be characterized as rough, hard and underground. We think these two talents put together will make for a memorable evening.

TRUS'ME:

Trus’me found his calling after learning the art of mixing and sample digging. Surrounded by the heads of Manchester and its deep rooted music scene, one couldn’t deny that it was an effortless task to be exposed to good music from all genres, thus explaining his constantly evolving tastes as evident in his eclectic DJ sets as well as in his uniquely, diverse productions. “Like bookends some 12’s will work with both the beginning and the end of the night," posits Trus'me. His productions have seen support from respected names such as Ashley Beedle, Juan Atkins, Mad Matts, Gilles Peterson and Chez Damier. His highly successful debut album, “Working Nights”, on Fat City Recordings, is heralded by most as "timeless." Not one to rest on his laurels, the label Prime Numbers was set up following his album's release and quickly gained an unfaltering reputation for highly collectible and exceptional music from artistes such as Move D, Actress, Linkwood, Fudge Fingas, Motorcity Drum Ensemble; all artistes that fit the ethos and style that Trus’me continues to carry a torch for. In 2009, his highly anticipated follow-up album, “In The Red” that featured the likes of Chez Damier, Amp Fiddler and Dam Funk further cemented his place in the House scene and set off a flurry remixes for acts such as LCD Soundsystem, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Alton Miller, Anthony Shakir and more, including non-stop touring to clubs and festivals alike in Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, North America, South America and of course, in his backyard, the city of Manchester where it all began. His knack for reading a room has not gone undocumented, and his Flash debut is sure to be a night of excess and jubilation.

MASS PROD:

Mass Prod is a musical project focused on electronic dance music, mainly performed through DJ sets and live acts. Raw drums and futuristic, ‘out-of-space’ harmonics are the signature sound, never-ending research on how to push the dance floor experience a bit further, somewhere else; someplace new. Fast or slow, harsh or mellow, the aim is to get a hypnotic communion, a tribute to the power of our bodies vibrating at the same speed. The music is an unconscious way to bring back memories from our past and bring to life a new way of understanding present changes. Since the first live set in 2003 at Link (Bologna), Massprod’s music has been hosted all around Italy and Europe, hitting North and South America. Currently a resident at the house Mecca, DC10, the underground heart of Ibiza, and in Fiesta Privada, Tenax., he’s also a regular guest at the most important Italian clubs and festivals, as well as Watergate (Berlin), Rex (Paris), Matter (Fabric-London), Sankeys (Manchester), and Zukunft (Zurich). He has played alongside some of the most representative artists of the contemporary electronic music scene, Actress, Jeff Mills, Four Tet and Caribou just to name a few. We eagerly look forward to the DC-10 man's triumphant return to Flash.
