Sun 30 Mar – Blue Man Group
Cool light show, aliens poking fun at our silly ways, and lots of weird instruments is what I expected. Sadly, I only got the first two. There was only one segment where they played heavily with pipes and tuning. I wish they would have done more of that. Instead, I got a cool rock show complete with splashy lights and a bland backing band. My eyes enjoyed it more than my ears. I wonder if you have to see them in one of their broadway shows to see the unusual music and cool pipe instruments? I might sound negative about the affair, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. I just wish it could have been more about the Blue Man Group and not the video screen.
