PET SHOP BOYS (SAT, 20 SEPT - ZONE 1)

Kicking off the weekend is UK’s most successful music duo and three-time Brit Award winner Pet Shop Boys, who are slated to enthral audiences before the start of the Formula One™ qualifying session on Saturday, 20 September.

Having sold more than 50 million records worldwide, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe’s energetic electropop sound, avant-garde costumes and fervent fan base will transform the Circuit Park into an electrifying pre-race party.

With 42 Top 30 singles and 22 Top 10 hits in the UK charts since 1985, the English pop duo were awarded a Brit Award in 2009 for Outstanding Contribution to Music and more recently picked up a Q Outstanding Contribution To Music award by Q Magazine. The pair behind 80s’ classics “West End Girls”, “Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots of Money)”, “Always On My Mind” and their cover of the 70’s anthem “Go West” released their twelfth studio album, Electric, in 2013 which debuted at number three on the UK Albums chart.

33 years after Pet Shop Boys were formed, the synth-pop pioneers still continue to push the envelope and with their Electric Tour, fans can expect an energetic set complete with mesmerising video projections, elaborate costumes and a slew of electronic dance hits at their performance at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Six-time Grammy winner and Emmy winner Ziggy Marley will perform in Zones 1 and 4 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit this September.

ZIGGY MARLEY (SAT, 20 SEPT - ZONE 1 & SUN, 21 SEPT - ZONE 4)

Fresh from winning Best Reggae Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards, Ziggy Marley will mark his debut performance in Singapore at the seventh edition of the night race.

Born David Nesta Marley, the eldest son of the legendary Bob Marley will perform after the on-track action at the Village Stage on Saturday, 20 September and before the Formula One™ race on Sunday, 21 September at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre Stage.

"I am looking forward to my first trip to Singapore, getting to know the people, the culture and sharing our music,” said Ziggy Marley, who is currently on tour in support of his fifth solo studio album, Fly Rasta.

Marley’s infectious reggae beats has amassed a total of six Grammy Awards, three of which as a solo artist and three with The Melody Makers, a group formed with his brother Stephen and sisters Sharon and Cedella. Fans of the Jamaican can expect to hear his hit single “Tomorrow People”, as well as “True to Myself”, “Love Is My Religion”, “Fly Rasta”, “I Don’t Wanna Live on Mars” and “Wild and Free”.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS (SAT, 20 SEPT - ZONE 4)

Returning to Singapore after thirteen years, one of UK’s biggest pop star Robbie Williams will perform after the Formula One™ qualifying session on Saturday, 20 September 2014 at the Padang Stage.

With six albums in the UK’s Top 100 biggest selling albums of all time – he has sold more than 70 million albums – the multi-platinum award-winning pop singer achievements remains unrivalled. Robbie has won 17 BRIT Awards (British equivalent of the American Grammy Awards), including the Outstanding Contribution to British Music award – more than any other artist to date. He has also won a record of 12 ECHO awards by German’s association of recording companies that recognises outstanding achievement in the music industry. In addition, Robbie was inducted in the UK Music Hall of Fame as the greatest artist of the 1990s alongside Madonna and Michael Jackson.

As the youngest member of the massively popular English pop group Take That in 1990, Robbie has enjoyed a hugely successful musical career despite leaving the band in 1995. His numerous award-winning solo albums, which include Sing When You’re Winning and Escapology, has propelled the pop star to be UK’s best-selling British solo artist to date.

Robbie re-joined Take That in 2010 for a record-breaking tour and album, which became the fastest selling album of the century. Two years later, Robbie released his ninth solo studio album Take The Crown which featured his 14th number 1 single ‘Candy’, the fastest selling single of the year by a male solo artist. JENNIFER LOPEZ (SUN, 21 SEPT - ZONE 4)
Global icon Jennifer Lopez will headline the Padang Stage at the 2014 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX on Sunday, 21 September 2014.

A three-time American Music and three-time BRIT Awards winner, Lopez recently became the first woman to receive the lifetime achievement Icon Award at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards for outstanding contribution to pop music. The R&B artiste is regarded as the most influential Hispanic performer in the United States, with record sales of 80 million and a cumulative film gross of over US$2billion.

Fans can expect to hear the catchy singles “First Love” as well as the hip hop and synthpop song “I Luh Ya PaPi” from her recently released eighth studio album, A.K.A.

The multi-talented Latin American first made her breakthrough as a dancer and an actress before successfully crossing over to music in 1999 with her debut album On the 6.

Since then, “Jenny From the Block” has sold over 80 million records worldwide and belted out hits such as “If You Had My Love”, “Waiting for Tonight”, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “On the Floor” – 2011’s chart-topping collaboration with popular rapper Pitbull. The American Idol judge and Pitbull have also collaborated for “We Are One (Ole, Ola)”, the infectious official song of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
