    Blind Test

Allow users to create blind tests. Exactly like on Deezer.

Care to elaborate a little more? What are these 'blind tests' of which you speak?

    With^^

You are taking the fact that we know of Deezer, and all their gimmicks very easily for granted ;)

I think the English expression "blind test" is only used in French (http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blind_test). In English I think you said "musical quiz". It's a mini game where you have recognize the artist of a music.

    Examples :
    - The Blind Test option on Deezer (http://www.deezer.com/#music/blindtest/45342/3215265 <- try it). I only use Deezer for this Blind Test option.

The system should allow users to create a quiz list and allow them to order the songs and to choose the answers for each songs.

Apparently it is necessary to register (for free) to try the 'blind tests' (or musical quizz, or whatever - I'm french-speaking too...) of deezer.

Does it mean you would make a playlist of 30 secs previews, and then users could play a 'blind test' with it?

It would be fun! Although I think the staff has more urgent stuff to do like fix all the bugs, and also the question is, does it serve the aims of Last.fm (maybe it does, in so that it is a way to discover -frustrating previews of- songs, and maybe play social games around music, and also if it's fun it can attract new users)

The new layout has had more than enough complaints about it being to much Facebook... I think that introducing games onto the site is not the most intelligent move at this point ;)

Stuff like that would be fun. An alternative would be to make the test a separate game/plugin that just uses the last fm music. I wonder what somebody working with the build.last.fm stuff could make?

Because like Jester-NL said, I don't want this place to be more like facebook. But a last.fm powered music test widget that can be posted on facebook (or other sites) would be cool.

All comments reflect the views of the poster and not of last.fm or it's management.

    that makes sense!

maybe you could build a playlist in your account, and provide it to a widget which would make the mini game.

I used to love 'Name That Tune'. (television was my babysitter)

I wouldn't like a quiz as part of the site, but a widget somewhere like Facebook / MySpace etc is smart. A widget / add-on for groups would be great too - it would make a nice addition to any group here.

    + 1

Yes... I agree with you. This should be done as a external tool.
