pls help? last fm won't download & i have windows xp!

i cannot figure this out. i am attempting to download last fm to do the scrobble thing but it just isnt doing anything.

i go to download & it says save file & i try but thats it. nothing else at all happens.
& it's not on my computer becasue i searched it to make sure it didnt download & just save itself somewhere.

has anyone else had this prob? if so or if anyone can help me that would be great!

i'm also having trouble uploading all my album covers to the healthy home music page, but thats another issue. on that one, my files are jpeg & are the correct size. it says its uploading & even shows me a preview & says it may take abit to show up on my page, but it never shows up! & i've tried this about 10 times.

no i have a pc. i just don't get why this isnt working.

i'm clicking on download last fm to your desktop from my home page.
that takes me here: http://www.last.fm/download
then i make sure it says microsoft windows version because i have windows xp
then click download now.then it says you have chosen to open last fm. save file? & i say save file & then thats it. thats all it does.
