Hey guys, very excited about this month's playlist! A couple of new things in store for you guys. :)

The May playlist and all future playlists will be available for streaming on www.my space.com/blalocksindierockplaylist You will now be able to add these lists on your profile pages or embed them anywhere you'd like!

Also, I'm still continuing the mixed CD Trade. So far I have received 4 CD's in the mail with many more on the way. A big thanks to everyone who has sent me one so far. (Sinclair from Australia, Blandine from France, David from The Netherlands, and Kayla from Wisconsin)Sending CD's back soon! :)

Pictures are included in the torrent of the CD's on my wall. For those of you who have not heard of this project basically what I'm doing is trading mixed CD's with all of you guys. If anyone is interested in sending me a CD e-mail me at joshblalock@gmail.com and I'll send you my address. As each CD comes in I post it on my wall and post pictures of the progress. So its nice if it includes your name, where you are from, and any art to make the CD unique. As soon as I receive one from any of you I'll send one back.

A little early this month. Just wanted to say thank you guys that have downloaded the previous months releases. A couple of things I just wanted to say.

I've started another small project with the community if anyone is willing to take part. I'm wanting to start trading mixed CD's with the community. Thought it would be interesting to collect mixed CD's from all over the world. Once I receive them I'm going to rip them to my computer and put them on my wall (I'll take pictures of the progress) If anyone would like to send me one, I'll send you one back. Simple as that. on the 20th of january i start probation from a case that began in march, which involved me being arrested and my computer seized (the reason for no april08).

According to my probation officer i will have 180 days in jail and a year of probation. i made sure to mention to him "but what about indie/rock playlist?" and he replied "it stops until you're off probation"

so, unless something amazing happens (it won't) that changes the judges mind or probation, i'll be unable to create these playlists, for now.

It's been great! i'll probably miss the music and community more than anyone.

There are quite a few alternatives still, and i'm sure someone else will make an attempt and continuing this playlist or one similar to.
