Jumpstyle isn't new at all! It's not even close to recent. In fact, jump is just a lame rehash of early 90s Hardhouse, from which it is 100% INDISTINGUISHABLE. Hardhouse PREDATES IT BY 10 YEARS, only this time including a stupid dance form as well as a Lacoste/Tachini/ Nike AM uniform which seems to have drawn its inspiration mostly from the UK "chav" stereotypes (especially considering those stupid hats). Might as well call it by its real name, eh? I bet Lacoste probably made more money off of it than the organizers and producers did.
Want proof?
For a good selection of typical Hard House tracks, check out Ishkur's Guide (check out "Hard" under the "House" menu):

compare this to any "jumpstyle" artists.
You will find that there is no difference.
And finally,
Take any pre-1996 hardhouse track and get someone who is into "jumpstyle" to listen to it, and try to make him guess the genre and release date. He will most likely swear by his life that the music is mid-2000s jumpstyle, only to have his world utterly shattered upon hearing that his whole belief system was based around a group of unoriginal Belgo-Dutch hacks ripping off the early 90s Chicago scene to make a buck, probably thinking nobody would ever find out. I guess it all just got out of control when the chavs got hold of it.
Spread the Truth!
