Fr., 15. Mai. – Rock in Caputh

1. Tag
Rock in Caputh begann für uns mit einem etwas längeren Fußmarsch. Vom Wohnheim zum Bahnhof. Vom anderen Bahnhof in die falsche Richtung, dann über eine Fähre und ewig in diesem doch recht kleinen Dorf umhergeirrt und schließlich doch gefunden. Dann die Karte gekauft und sich ein wenig über die Modalitäten aufgeregt (Kombiticket sind 2 Tagestickets, kein Bändchen & man wird nur widerwillig mit Stempel vom Gelände gelassen…) Dann ins Gras gelegt und zu Blind Man´s View gechillt. War wohl ganz in Ordnung… ich hab aber auch nicht richtig hingehört.
Bei Bonsai Kitten war dies dann auch absolut nicht notwendig, um es mal gelinde auszudrücken, vor allem weil die erste halbwegs genießbare Band danach spielte. Obwohl ich mir Ohrbooten wohl nun nicht jeden Tag anhören werde, waren sie doch ganz lustig und heiterten die Stimmung definitiv auf.
Danach war es soweit, der Grund warum ich eigentlich auf diesem Festival war, machte sich bereit. Soviel bleibt zu sagen. 4LYN war echt gut, keine Frage. So ziemlich die besten Lieder haben sie gespielt und dabei auch nicht zu viel vom nicht so recht gelungenen aktuellen Album, aber das Problem an der Sache war mehr oder weniger das Publikum. Da kann man auch mal etwas weiter ausholen um das zu schildern oder man sagt einfach es war ein wenig wie ein Dorftrottelfestival. Leute, die zu Balladen um sich prügeln, Crowd surfen wenn die Band nicht spielt oder andere pogen wollen und auch nach der dritten Ansage die Wall of Death nicht checken, sind echt nur zu bemitleiden und machen einem ein wenig den Auftritt einer tollen Band kaputt. Dafür gabs dann ein paar Lästersprüche („Was schreit ihr hier denn so, wir sind hier nicht bei Revolverheld“) seitens Brazzo und am Ende ein paar T-Shirts. Nur gut, dass ich die eh alle hab…wie man sich um so ein Stück Stoff so prügeln kann x)
Egal, danach ging es mit nem ziemlich dreckigen Körper nach Hause unter die Dusche (:

2. Tag
Der nächste Tag begann wesentlich entspannter. Diesmal ging’s mit dem Auto nach Caputh. Kurz angehört haben wir uns prinzessin plastik & Half Past Here und danach ging es erstmal zum Auto ne Shisha rauchen und schön nerdy via UMTS surfen ;)
Hasenscheiße war dann sehr sehr toll. Mehr brauch man eigentlich gar nicht sagen dazu (: Danach gab wieder runter vom Gelände zur Shisha. Samavayo konnte man auch vor dort aus recht gut hören.
Itchy Poopzkid, nunja ich mochte sie vor zwei Jahren. Ich kannte also alle Lieder und sie waren auch ganz toll und so (: Was auch daran lag, dass sie wenig vom aktuellem Album gespielt haben, aber sein wir mal ehrlich, wenn es Blink wieder gibt, wieso dann Itchy?
Irgendwie hat es sich auch keine Band nehmen lassen, einen ultimativen Flachwitz über Caputh zu reißen ...
Das Festival haben wir dann schön bei Mecces ausklingen lassen, denn es war ja für eine Veranstaltung dieser Größe ziemlich teuer, sich vor Ort satt zu essen.
