On the first listen there were a lot of Power metal cliches that the band walked straight into. Repeated listens however yield a very enjoyable selection of songs, particularly Nova Era and Unholy Wars. btw, Millennium Sun is spelt wrong on this page.

Wouldn't say it's generic but it's not Angra at their most creative, more like back to basics. I still like it a lot though as the melodies like somebody highlighted below are very good and not typical Power Metal. I love Edu's vocal performances on both Rebirth and Temple of Shadows, sounds a little strained on Aurora Consurgens though.

Braxil, not sure what you mean by that? I think is with Fireworks, one of their best albums, amazingly epic!! great musicianship!
