derp i just noticed the date error. it's been a week since i posted this.
Listening to music has become a wholly frustrating experience for me. Thanks to the age we live in, assloads of music is available for me at any time, which can be a really bad thing if you're like me and have no self-control. I currently have about 140 GB worth of music that I have never actually listened to, it's all sitting in respective incoming folders.
Because of this, I tend to neglect what's in my library. So, I devised a little plan to get more listens out of the artists I already know about. Every Sunday, I will ask Winamp to randomly pick 3-5 albums. The album artists will be ones whom I listen to throughout the week. If I get a genre repeat, I will retry, I want only one band per genre to keep it fresh, and the amount of bands will change depending on how I feel. Then, I'll write my thoughts on the week's batch in journals like this one.
