The Process Of Belief has my two favorite Bad Religion songs (The Defense and Kyoto Now!), but their all-around best albums are No Control, The Gray Race, and Against The Grain, in my opinion.

For me, it's a clear choice on what their best album is. Against The Grain. (Although I started with Stranger Than Fiction because I liked the song "Hooray For Me...")

How could hell be any worse is a bit rough around the edges but still has some real gems on it. I'm agreed with Joostvdaa, I started out with All Ages, it's a brilliant set of songs :)

At first I loved their old stuff (80-85), despite, i think, is pretty ''hard'' for a punkrock starter who just listened to sum41, green day and blink-182. Now I love everything by them, but specially No Control and Against the Grain, wich I think are their best albums. Although I would recommend maybe Stranger than Fiction (94), The Grey Race (96) and Process of Belief (02) to start with them.

@Bloodybirdbrain - Start at the beginning and work from there. 81-85, Suffer, No Control, Against The Grain and on and on. Just listen chronologically and appreciate the band as they progressed, reverted, and progressed again.
