Check out Heavy Cream, they're like a less-poppy, more garage rock BYOP. Really unknown right now, but they're great. You can find a few tracks on hype machine.

p.s. Good to see that the debut is back to dominating the charts. Nobody agreed with me in 2008 that Get Awkward was a disappointment. Still wish that "Fire Department" had more plays. Greatest BYOP song, period.

People, stop ragging on Paramore already. When Jemina was getting compared to Karen O, I thought that was a dumb comparison because their music was nothing alike, but I didn't get militant about it. If people want to compare her to Hailey, whatever, let it go. They're all great singers in my mind and just because some band you like gets compared to some band that high schoolers listen to doesn't make your band worse. I say this as someone who saw BYOP five times and have bought more BYOP merch than you will ever see in your life.
