Yeah haha, Tommy's description of Colors was pretty ridiculous...I didn't see them as metalcore in the slightest as first, but if you think about it, technically speaking, BTBAM are metalcore. Just really, really, really good metalcore as opposed to the usual bullshit the genre's full of.

There are hardcore elements in their music, even on Colors. It was a lot more apparent on their Self-Titled release, but they are still a metalcore band. Most of the guys in the band came from metalcore bands (Prayer For Cleansing, Glass Casket). They're an extremely original and gifted metalcore band, but they're still a metalcore band.

Tagged as metalcore?? Admittedly I've only heard Colors and one track from Alaska (Selkies) but is there something I'm missing? Did they evolve from metalcore into pure genius or is there just some profoundly mislead who thinks this is metalcore?
