The release of 'Voltaic' re-raises the question - why don't we have an official release from the 'Greatest Hits' tour yet? It's my favorite tour of hers and some of the arrangements were just lovely. :(

I think Voltaic would make a good start - that way you get an idea of her latest (& brilliant!) work as well as having the "greatest hits" effect without giving away the studio versions wich make the characteristics of every album. I myself got really into Björk with the Royal Opera DVD (not the Vespertine songs though at first, more like All Is Full Of Love, Hyperballd, Jóga, Human Behaviour, ... - but it also got me into the "more difficult stuff", An Echo, A Stain is my favourite now). My favourite Album would be Medúlla - simply the greatest! "best" is always hard to say....

I actually would recommend a compilation, to be honest. Otherwise, I feel like I end up picking out songs from each album. =/ Medulla had the most "bests" when I thought about it, and I really do think it is an awesome, unique album.

i've always felt homogenic and vespertine are her best works. however its hard to simply choose one album, because each album is totally unique from one another. that, i think, is the genius behind bjork's music.
