1) The Academy Is...
technically, iTunes was what first introduced me to TAI.., because of the reccomended for you feature. I bought Almost Here and listened to it every now and then. When my iPod was stolen I forgot all about them, and then I heard 'We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands' and thought it was terrible. Now I love them.

2) All Time Low
I can't actually remember how I got into All Time Low - I think I saw the video for Coffee Shop Soundtrack somewhere and decided to check out their other songs.

3) Cobra Starship
people on a forum were raving about them. I didn't really like them at first after hearing stuff from their first album, but I think when I heard The City Is At War I finally cracked.

4) My Chemical Romance
Like several of the bands above, I didn't like them at first. I heard I'm Not Okay (I Promise) and thought it was terrible. It wasn't until the release of Welcome To The Black Parade I fell in love with them and gave their earlier stuff a try. These guys saved my life.

5) Fall Out Boy
Four words: Sugar, We're Goin' Down.

6) Paramore
Misery Business was the lovely little song that made me fall in love with this band. I'd actually heard Pressure before without knowing who they were.

7) Panic! At the Disco
Ah, yes, Panic. Even though they have changed their name I still scrobble them with the exclamation mark. I heard I Write Sins Not Tradgedies on some random person's Piczo site [haha] and it built up from there.

8) Blink-182
I Miss You, What's My Age Again? and All The Small Things. Nuff said.

9) Lostprophets
It sounds mad but it was my dad who got me interested in Lostprophets. He played a lot of stuff from their first album in the car - mainly Last Summer and Last Train Home. When I was smaller I hated it and asked him to turn it off, but when I developed a decent taste in music I fell in love with them.

10) Metric
I once had an obsession with The Sims 2 and would watch Sims 2 series' on YouTube [we've all been there]. There was one series that used The List as the theme tune and alot of other Metric songs throughout.

11) Jimmy Eat World
Another Sims 2 video... I watched one that used The Middle and fell in love with the song, then I heard Always Be on YouTube.

12) The Postal Service
There's a book called Lets Get Lost by Sarah Manning, and there are tons of bands mention. One of them being The Postal Service.

13) The Ting Tings
That's Not My Name and Shut Up And Let Me Go.

14) The Smashing Pumpkins
Well, there are technically two ways I became interested in The Smashing Pumpkins. First, Day Dream is mentioned in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. Second, I gave Mayonnaise a listen after hearing TAI...'s cover for the Smashing Pumpkins MySpace tribute.

15) Green Day
American Idiot. Easy as.

16) CitizensFOB Mixtape.

17) Foo Fighters
I'd always had a secret obsession with Times Like These; then I heard My Hero and some of their other tracks. It went from there.

18) Elliot Minor
The truth is, I've gone off Elliot Minor since the release of their album. But I think I heard Jessica and Parallel Worlds [the first versions; the better versions] and it carried on from there.

19) The Wombats
I'd heard Lets Dance To Joy Division once or twice on MTV2 and didn't really like it, but I deicded I had a love for Moving To New York and the rest eventually grew on me.

20) Broken Social Scene
From the same book I found The Postal Service, I also found Anthems For A Seventeen Year Old Girl. Then I heard Backyards and Lover's Spit.

21) Automatic Loveletter
It all started with All Time Low's Remembering Sunday. As soon as I found out that Juliet Simms was in a band I listened to some of their music and fell in love with them; especially Shut Your Mouth.

22) 30 Seconds to Mars
I heard The Kill on Kerrang and things went on from there.

23) Hadouken!
I heard That Boy That Girl on MTV2 and thought they were terrible. I later heard Declaration Of War and decided that actually, they were pretty good. I bought their album and now I'm obsessed with Liquid Lives and Driving Nowhere.

Ocean Avenue was once featured on Made [I'm sure that'll make me popular].

Wolf Parade I haven't seen any live performances. my life sucks

Kings of Leon Because of the Times was really good, but I'll always be in love with Aha Shake Heartbeat and Youth & Young Manhood xD
