    Taken from this journal.

    Favourite bands:
    1- Sigur Rós
    2- Radiohead
    3- The Killers
    4- Kraftwerk
    5- Muse
    6- Portishead
    7- Cocteau Twins
    8- Scissor Sisters
    9- Coldplay
    10- The Beatles
PS: Animal Collective not included because they are not a band. They are a collective, god damn it! D:

    Favourite albums:
    1- Ray of Light
    2- Hounds of Love
    3- Ágætis Byrjun
    4- Anastacia
5- The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
    6- Merriweather Post Pavilion
    7- Lycanthropy
    8- Absolution
9- Confessions on a Dance Floor
    10- The Dreaming

    Greatest single ever made:
But there are so many! From the top of my head I say ÇalSay It Right, but...

    Favourite boxed set:
I don't know many box sets, really. I'd say either This Woman's Work Anthology 1978 - 1990 as the most complete and Family Tree as the most inventive.

    Favourite Greatest Hits:
ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits, for sure.

    First CD bought:
    Christina Aguilera self titled debut.

    First Concert:
I still haven't seen lots of concerts, still, my first was a stupid Linkin Park concert in 2004. Geez, I can't believe I liked them!

    Favourite Concert:
Well, not counting the first, I've only really been into Madonna's Sticky and Sweet Tour, last year. But I believe that would be my favorite even if I went to many concerts; it was that awesome.

    Concert You Wish You'd Seen:
Björk on Volta tour. Or Kraftwerk + Radiohead this year. T_T

Best Use of Music In Film:
Dancer in the Dark. Selmasongs as an album may be Björk's least awesome, but it still works perfectly on the movie!

Best Use of Music In TV series:
American Idol, merely for being the origin of one of my Top 20 artists. D=
And Grey's Anatomy. Yes, I pretty much like all of their song choices. XD

    Favourite music books:
    ... wat

    Favourite Songwriters:
Kate Bush, Björk, Madonna, Kara DioGuardi (yeah, I said it! she writes impressive and catchy songs for pretty much any style), Radiohead (they all wirte the songs, amirite?), David Bowie, Patrick Wolf... there are so many!

    Favourite album covers:
From the Choirgirl Hotel is one of my favuorites ever. <3
    Aerial. Hmmmm, honey. <3
Hunky Dory. Yay for androgyny, every single time.
The Velvet Underground & Nico. Peel slowly and see = win.
Dark Side of the Moon. Yes, the album became such a hit that the cover art is pretty much tired and cheesy by now, but I still love light refraction. <3
    Strawberry Jam. Delicious. <3
Life In Cartoon Motion. Mess! <3

Least fav album covers to albums you like/love/don't mind:
    Hard Candy. Seriously, Madonna, WTF.
Never Let Me Down. Everything bad about the 80's. And please, let's not talk about the music itself.
It's Blitz!. Shite album, but the cover art is even crappier. An egg, yay?
Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust. Ew. Their asses are not pretty.
    Kylie. The hat!! >_o
With Lasers. I am not amused.
In The Court Of The Crimson King. Never listened to it, but the cover sure doesn't make me want to.

    Favourite Music DVDs:
Don't have any yet, I'm not really interested in those.

Artist You Will Always Believe In:
Kate Bush. I'd put Madonna here, but after Hard Candy's cover art, Kate Bush deserves it more. @_@

    Artist You Will Always Defend:
    Madonna ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS
    The Killers
    Sigur Rós
    David Bowie
    Muse
    Duffy
And Kate Bush, even though most people respect her. <3

    Albums You Will Always Defend:
Hard Candy. Only the music, NOT the cover art.
    The Red Shoes
Pretty much any Madonna or Kate Bush album, to be honest.
    Catflights And Spotlights
    Volta
    Dignity
    Merriweather Post Pavilion
    Third

Singers Who Can Make Your Skin Crawl:
    Mariah Carey ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS
    Avril Lavigne

Artists I'm Supposed to Like, But Don't
Lady GaGa. I like some of her songs, but overall, meh. I really hate the hype about her.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Especially after It's Blitz!.
Rihanna. Again, I like some of her songs, but the big picture is blah.
    Ciara. Catchy, but...
Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Usually I like nonsense songwriting, but...
Carrie Underwood. Absolutely nothing against her, but it didn't click. Maybe I didn't gave her a fair chance.
Arctic Monkeys. SOmething is missing, Probably talent.
PJ Harvey. I love her new album, but it's a collab album - her truly solo efforts NEVER click with me!
    John Mayer. SNOOOOOOORE!

Song You Can't Stand by an Artist You Like:
Did You Do It?. Dear God, she's my favorite artists, how could she come up with this crap?!
ÇalPersonal Jesus. I used to hate him because of his rendition of this song. Now I actually like him, but I still hate this song. D=

    Artist Who Broke Your Heart:
Nightwish. Okay, Tarja got all the attention for herself and she had to leave. But WHY, WHY, WHY did you put that annoying, dumb, silly imitation of a human being in her place?

    Band That Should Break Up:
    Take That
    Tokio Hotel
    Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Evanescence. It's obvious that Amy Lee deeply wants a solo career.
U2. Just temporarily, for they to drop the attitude. Then they should reunite.
The Pussycat Dolls. The other members need a voice, Nicole!
Nightwish, as they are crap without Tarja.

Bands That Should Get Back Together:
Spice Girls. For real. Without the fake friendship-never-ends feel of the reunion tour.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor. They may make bloated, over-the-top post-rock, but they make the BEST bloated, over-the-top post-rock. XD
My Bloody Valentine, as I feel they can improve what they accomplished on Loveless.
EDIT: I was just told that MBV didn't break up. Still, doing nothing in 18 years should count as breaking up. @_@
    The Stone Roses. Period.

    Guilty Pleasure:
Céline Dion and Miley Cyrus. Yes, I like them. >O

My również czekamy!

    1. How did you get into 29? (Marilyn Manson)
It was through Goldfrapp that I got interested. They originally remixed his song "ÇalThis Is the New Shit" and after hearing that, I was very interested in hearing the original. So I did, and then I listened to more and more and I liked it.

    2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22? (Bjork)
    "Army Of Me"

    3. What's your favorite lyric by 33? (Blondie)
I don't have any of the lyrics memorized, so I can't really say.

    4. How did you get into 49? (The Pretenders)
I was on a road trip with my family and the song "Middle of the Road" played and I really got into them after that.

    7

    6. What is your favorite song by 50? (The Beatles)

"Frederick" I love it because it's a really gorgeous song to listen to and sing.

    9. What is your favorite song by 5? (Alanis Morissette)
"Hand In My Pocket (acoustic)" solely for the fact that it is the first song I've ever heard from her. And I loved it and I still love it.

    10. Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy? (Goldfrapp)
"ÇalCaravan Girl" because of the optimism it has behind it. It feels like a song about freedom.

    11. What is the worst song by 40? (Paula Cole)
I don't think that she has one.

    12. What is your favorite song by 10? (Liz Phair)
There are a lot of them, but I think that it might be "Whitechocolatespaceegg"

    13. What is a good memory you have involving 30? (PUFFY)
Discovering the "NICE." album. That was perhaps the best moment involving them.

I don't really have any favorites. Just about every track from "Dreamboat Annie" were favorites.

"Rock Lobster". It's my absolute favorite! :)
