agreed, VIII is actually pretty good. I very much like Fallen and Garden of Thorns ... Eternal Winter's Prophecy is still my Favourite, though ;)

It's their first album I'm listening to, and I have to say that it's great! It's fast but melodic, aggresive but not with that "look, we're brootal" feeling to it. Clean vocals fit in very well, so all in all that's melodic black how I like it :)

for me, the new album is the best they've ever made. and come on, the clean vocals are great and i think they've fixed them well into their songs. only the production lacks a little bit for me, but that's only a little defect for me. 9,5/10 points for that masterpiece! ^_^

Even after listening to the album a few times its pretty obvious that its by far their worst album. The production suck and the vocals are much worse than before :(

About this new albums opening track issue: Yes, it is "Garden of Thorns". Have to say that in Finnish download stores it also is titled as "Garden of Eden".
