Oh come on. Rock is so rare in popular music, and CT are among the best. Take a listen to CT's first album, possibly the greatest 70's hard rock album. It's hard to think of any album that touches it, and I lived thru the '70's, unlike the pretenders.

The storm WAS Cheap Trick. They rocked so hard the stage collapsed.

The heroes of "hard Seventies pop", or "melodic garage rock" or whatever label you'd care to slap onto them. Amazing lead vocalist/screamer, brilliant tunesmith who plays twin-necked guitars, a droll drummer in the Charlie Watts "this is my day job" tradition, great songs, great beat, great great great.

They're really underrated. Other than the first 4 albums and At Budokan, Woke Up With A Monster and Rockford are really good too. The rest are hit and miss, if you're wondering.
