I've been into industrial music since 2003 and started to focus on industrial noise since 2004, well mainly rhythmic noise, and I always thought SP is a band just like front line assembly and never paid attention to until I heard ohGr from a UK gothic radio station, most of the tracks played in that station is quite boring, so when ohGr played, it opened my ears. I searched and found he's from SP, It was 2005 I guess, and I accidently got TGWOTR DVD. I wasn't blowed away by DVD1 TBH, but was totally into too dark park section. So I bought TDP CD from a pigface friend, who had a Holand version and an American version, he sold me the first one. And invited me for dinner, hahaha.
Coil:
Actually nine inch nails opened my up to this band. I very very enjoy closer to god EP, especially closer(precursor), and I love se7en, the more I listen to it, the more I love it, it was 2004, Jhonn hadn't died yet. But several days later, when I opened coil's official site...you know the rest. But maybe this is why I love this band. Most of my coil tracks are not ID3ed, so I listen to them far more than 1000+.
Nine Inch Nails:
When I was in university, a seller came into the school gate, he knew me and showed me Things falling apart. I bought it. I thought NIN is a heavy metal band. Dang....So you can imagine how I feel when I listen to dance-like Thing Falling Apart..Later AATCHB came to my hand. Love the performance on La Mer, The Great Below, The Mark Has Been Made...I thought Trent Reznor wasn't handsome at that time but my friend kept saying he was so hot, later I started to love his face too..
Unlike the others, NIN caused the act of my delay to SP. Everyone is saying: you should listen to real industrial like KMFDM and Skinny Puppy! Nine inch nails copied
Porcupine Tree:
It was one of the first band changed my mind, so I can't remember when I've into them. I remember I was listening into Yahoo radio back in 90's, and looking for Tori Amos radio station. Loved signify(the track) and its album cover. I believe this is the band made me into industrial music. Because they used to have playlist in official site, you can easily see throbbing gristle, harfler troi and zovient france. They didn't listen to many rock bands at that time. It swifted me to non-rock.
Rabia Sorda:
Ok, I found this band several months ago in a VA. It's called break through, and I fucking love it to death. lol!! I just can't stop listen to it. I know he's from Hocico, I think hocico is a very good and complex band, with respectful live shows. Hocico is almost one of the first EBM band I heard. But I'm more into Rabia sorda.
November Növelet:
I love haus arafna's attitude towards the world. Haus Arafna and Propergol is the best power electronics I've heard. So anything from them will be interesting to me. Their NN's first album wasn't too female driven, but magic is great. Dark and sexy, exactly what I love.
S.K.E.T.:
I love this band since 2005, yay! The best rhythmic noise band! Maybe the best in 2000's industrial music. My attitude has changed into more distorted noise now, lot's of rhythmic noise band I used to love isn't hot anymore to me. But I got never tired of S.K.E.T.'s music!
Ladytron:
Still back in the 2001-02 or something I think, when I don't even have broadband. It was blue Jeans, loved the song, love the style and makeup. The video isn't like what it's on youtube, it's more colorful, and extra shot on Helen's eyes as I remember.
Die Form:
Love inhuman when it was released. Still love it. But Bach project is pure amazing. Not too impressed with their ealier works..
Front 242:
I thought Front 242 is very VNV nation at first, now I think they are more powerful. When I was bored, I love to listen to their albums. The first track I heard is happiness.
