Anyone who can help me out here. I've got the 1997 cd Polydor remaster. Recently I was wondering if it was better to buy the 2004 deluxe edition which contains the stereo and mono mix. Is there a real improvement on this edition? And is the album preferable in mono or stereo? Thanks.

Powerful trio. They played in deep 60s, but those riffs, drumming and vocals are haunting even now. Which I consider a Big Deal (they're even better than The Yardbirds or The Kinks, not to mention Rolling Stones imho).

Along with The Doors, Cream were the first group I really, really loved. Nowadays I specialise in singer/songwriters but that early love endures, especially for songs like Dance The Night Away and I'm So Glad, possibly the greatest song ever written about trying to put a brave face on a break-up.
