I first heard susie q... so i explored further. their music is so groovy. my all time favourite classical rock band. and i believe they didnt trip on drugs at all. thats so impressive

i dunno, i probs prefer vanilla fudge's cover of you keep me hangin' on to the original by the supremes .. that said, i do prefer creedence's version to marvin gaye's.. but i wouldn't go so far as to say it's better, or 'the' definitive version.

Creedence Clearwater Revival is correct spelling. :) Marvin Gaye was genious and love his work and sorry for people who were offended by it. Need to practice my english more.. haha! Peace.

@Mii85 - You CANNOT call the CCR version of 'heard it through the grapevine', 'THE' ultimate release of the song...no one can sing it as well as marvin gaye! there are VERY few covers that better the originals...

Im answering to myself: I Heard It Through the Grapevine was the one for me. :) Original Marvin Gaye version was really good but CCR version will always be 'THE' I Heard It Through the Grapevine for me.
