"I really love Under a Glass Moon's guitar solo :> One of the Petrucci's best." - Timppa2000 OF COURSE!!!! :D Other than maybe Hollow Years (budokan), and Take the Time is pretty awesome as well.
-
brokeninbox şunu yazdı:
I think that this album is a bit different from all their others, don't you?

Really awesome album here, Pull Me Under is a great song, but I really don' t consider it DT's best work ever. Another Day is ok, not really epic. Take The Time is awesome! Truely an epic song that's only better when you hear it live! Surrounded: Again, not the best, but still pretty good for a softer slower song. Metropolis, Pt. 1: Truly a wonderful song that helped mold DT's music. Under A Glass Moon: Again, another awesome song, the beginning is just so epic, it feels like you're in a movie theater, especially when the volume is cranked up! Wait For Sleep: I really like these short 2 minute keyboard ballads, they really seem to echo the meaning of DT's songs. Learning To Live: Another awesome song, great way to end an album, very epic, very loud. Overall, this is an awesome album. Any DT fan should get this, after all, DT's sound was molded here into what DT is today.

An incredible album by any means, but a tad overrated when compared to the rest of their catalogue I think. But please no flaming, it's still awesome :)

Jokurr şunu yazdı:
while I like all of DT's albums, this and Awake are miles ahead of everything else imo. one of my favourite albums of all time right here.

madsaf şunu yazdı:
BEST ALBUM EVER!!! Wait for Sleep/Learning to Live kicks ass!!!
-
Hallonkakor şunu yazdı:
Best album in the history. Every song is a masterpiece, but Wait for Sleep and Learning to Live is pure godwork.

HP_maniak şunu yazdı:
I can't understand why everyone likes this album so much - Pull Me Under, Another Day and Wait For Sleep are realy good songs... no, they aren't just good, they are pure masterpieces, but I don't like the rest of the album.
-
idioteque04 şunu yazdı:
awake is my fave but this is really good
-
Kirimao şunu yazdı:
Best DT album. Pull me under is awesome.
-
NIghtLcDragon şunu yazdı:
This must be the worst DT Album... Learning to Live is awesome but the rest is just not that high DT level that I know from all other Albums.
-
Snowman01 şunu yazdı:
My favorite DT album, every track is so solid and just plain awesome! Can't get enough of this one
-
munchies1 şunu yazdı:

Wooshmeister şunu yazdı:
My favorite Dream Theater album. Didn't really like Systematic Chaos that much. :(
-
JaggedJimmyJay şunu yazdı:
If Pull Me Under didn't end like it does, the transition into Another Day would suck. It's supposed to do that.
-
PsychicSaw şunu yazdı:
If u ask me, I&M and awake are the only good things that came out from DT
-

Very simple, it is The Classic! ;)
-
PinkFloydrulez şunu yazdı:
It has the perfect amounts of awesomeness and 80s cheese combined into an amazing album.
-
PinkFloydrulez şunu yazdı:
I am completely opposite of DonniSharK... This is the only DT album I really love and, well, most everything else blows, for the most part.
-
DonniSharK şunu yazdı:
Out of all the Dream Theater albums, this is the only one I can honestly say I dislike. A couple of FANTASTIC songs, but it seems so mediocre compared to their post-I&W stuff, Awake for example, is a thousand times better.
-
headbanger94 şunu yazdı:
One of the best albums ever made. Up there in my top 3 with The New Mythology Suite and Hypothetical
-
DDRmaster117 şunu yazdı:
@ Kptorrahk: The song is basically about how death is abrupt, thus why the end of the song is abrupt, it's basically symbolism for how quickly life can leave somebody. And it was intended, they do it in their live performances.. But yeah. It's annoying.

One of the greatest albums of all time
-
kptorrahk şunu yazdı:
I don't understand why pull me under does end so abruptly, without a real ending; hate it when artists do that
