Also. James sound a lot more better than on Budokan.
-
blueapple007 şunu yazdı:
Never heard this version of the song :)
-
kptorrahk şunu yazdı:
I see what you mean with muse, but its only for a total of 4 secs, with the high vocals around 4:30 and 6:50
-
leechoflife şunu yazdı:
Lmfao? Muse.
-
All_Is_Lost şunu yazdı:
The "run, try to hide" part is beautiful.. they need to spend more time on it.. or at least come back to it another time or two.
-
JonasReingold şunu yazdı:
Octavarium is one of their best albums. And this one is AWESOME! Even on Chaos in Motion, but I prefer the studio version. And to be honest, it' one of the few songs where the Portnoy's vocals don't annoy me.
-
DyingSoul06 şunu yazdı:
god i love the songs from Octavarium

Sounds too good to be Dream theater.
-
CubesOfMadness şunu yazdı:
This sounds nothing like Dream Theater IMO
-
Kriegsphilosoph şunu yazdı:
@Krazylan: Can't you hear the freaking bass and guitar? o_o Not only the drums are insane! :P
-
wicket02 şunu yazdı:
Great. As a drummer trying to make it big, this is gonna suck for me on Rock Band 2. Then again, Mike can be a bit "twisted" sometimes. This is a sick song, though, nice track, although I really want to see Octavarium on Rock Band. That'd be so fucking sweet!
-
LiquidEternity şunu yazdı:
I think it's not a bad choice for RB2 because there isn't much of a focus on the keyboards. Not that I prefer the song because of that, but in Metropolis or something, there are a lot of main lines that wouldn't be played. But I guess they put Constant Motion on the DLC today, and they left the keyboard solo in, so maybe they aren't as against it as I might think.
-
Twang6 şunu yazdı:
mojazu: well, "hysteria" is in the lyrics. :P Seriously though, I do hear a bit of Muse in this. That's far from a bad thing.
-
KrazyIan şunu yazdı:
This is an insane song. I pity the poor guy who has to do the drum parts in Rock Band.
-
Xeronic1 şunu yazdı:
i'm not sure what to think about this track on rock band 2... i mean it's great, they are finally on there (probably read the forums) but why panic attack? it's a crazy song, yes, but playability on a song (in a game anyway) metropolis comes to mind easily.
-
jpx52 şunu yazdı:
Fucking awesome. I have mixed feelings about it being in Rock Band. On one hand, they'll get great exposure. But I don't like the idea of all the "fake" fans they'll get. I don't want to be elitist or anything, but it'll still be annoying.
-
Amantus şunu yazdı:
Metropolis should be on Rock Band 2 instead of Panic Attack, purely so I can watch and laugh people trying to play it. Well, and also because it's an epic song.
-
dumbledore515 şunu yazdı:
the first DT song i've heard!
-
PapaJaves şunu yazdı:
This song has been confirmed to be in rock band 2!
-
mojazu şunu yazdı:
I understand why people say Never Enough or even Prophets of War were inspired by Muse, but this one? nah. Anyway, this song beats the shit out of me.
-
leechoflife şunu yazdı:
well it means this song was inspired by Muse. It's not bad at all, it's still the best DT song for me.
-
Hsu şunu yazdı:
No they didn't.
-
leechoflife şunu yazdı:
Glorious (to be precise, Des, the early version of Glorious) was being played in 2004 and 2005 and was finally released only on Japanese BHAR in 2006. Does anybody know if DT played Panic Attack before the release of Octavarium?
-
leechoflife şunu yazdı:
well, the main riff sounds like Muse's Glorious but nobody knows what song was written earlier, so let's just enjoy these two fantastic songs)
-
Mystile şunu yazdı:
I concur with the muse comments.
-
Omicron_Persei şunu yazdı:
Чушь! При чём здесь Muse?! А тема супер!!! \m/
-
yuval_ritt şunu yazdı:
Groovy :D Best track on Octavarium
-
uberjoe şunu yazdı:
If you're going to compare this to anything, it has to be Muse. But then, they are the best cover band in the world.

JaggedJimmyJay şunu yazdı:
I can hear the similiarity to Kamelot. It's hard to find when LaBrie sounds nothing like Roy Khan, but it's there in the instrumentation.
-
dominoo1 şunu yazdı:
hmmm....interesting song...
-
JAMPSE şunu yazdı:
sounds like kamelot? i don't think so..
