Londra’da East Finchley’de Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou (Yunanca Γιώργος-Κυριάκος Παναγιώτου) adı ile Güney Kıbrıs’lı bir baba ile İngiliz bir annenin çocuğu olarak doğan(25 Haziran 1963) sanatçı; ilk grubu The Executivei okuldan en iyi arkadaşı Andrew Ridgeley ile kurdu.

1981’de Ridgeley ile WHAM!’i kurduktan sonra ilk albümleri Fantastic! ile büyük başarı elde ettiler. Bunu Make It Big aynı başarı ile izledi ancak grup 1986’nın yazında dağıldı ve grup elemanları solo çalışmalarına yöneldi.

I think George Michael is Hotter then ever since he's gotten older.. I seen him at the June 25 concert . That concert was sooo awesome.. I have waited decades to see this man.. When i was 12 years old. I was soo inlove with him.. Anywayz. On June 25th was his 45th b-day. The whole crowd got to sing Happy B-day to him.. It was great!!! I cired when he did his opening song with "Waiting" and he came out.. The bst feeling ever to see him.. And then of course I wanted to see him one last time before he lefted Cali on June 27th.I seen him one more time @ the Honda Center.. It was great..I have to say Thank You George for thinking about your American Fans here in the States.. And putting on a great performance this summer.. Love your fan forever,Jen from Cali =)

I hate the fact that people choose to comment crap on artists they don't like. If you don't like it then don't bloody go on the page! We all have our own musical tastes and opinions, Last.fm is about bringing everyone together to discover new music. It's not a slagging match where people have nothing better to do with their time than mouth off about one artist they just don't happen to like. As for his sexuality, you obviously have a problem with homosexuals so thankyou for demonstrating your immaturity to us.
