It completely boggles my mind how so few people in America give international music a chance... but couple that with an instrumental band from overseas and it's no wonder so few people know of bands like God Is an Astronaut. I'm still having to explain to people that Sigur Ros isn't some new band and they've been around for years. It's kind of sad.
