I love this album. It gets overlooked somewhat. I think it was one that didn't get re-mastered when all the Cocteau's albums were re-released? 'Sea Swallow Me' is lovely

Mind body soul ,still the best in my books and I'm 43 now unreal,I don't think personally there music will ever age,I feel they hit on something so special their music swallows me whole and spits me out all the better for it,I cannot name another band that has had so influence on my life,live on .

This album for me has always been Harold Budd & Cocteau Twins, as that’s what it is… I changed my tagging as I have had to do quite a bit in order to match Last.FM’s labeling wizards. In the end however, none of it seems to matter when you put ‘The Moon and the Melodies’ on and realize what a Brilliant Masterpiece it really is!

the best ambient album ever, even if it wasn't intended to be ambient. I dreamt my whole adoloscence away with this album (only breaking up for turning the side - vinyl!). By the way: The name of the album is "The Moon and the Melodies"
