the album takes some gettin used to. especislly with the addition of Ripper Owens on vocals.all in all, another awesome IE album, that dosent sound like the rest of their albums! great stuff !!!

I definitely agree that the Gettysburg trilogy is awesome, but for the most part, the main album is damn good. Definitely better than Framing Armageddon, and just about up to par with SWTWC.

HEARSAY. The Trilogy is fucking ILL. Just because it doesn't have Barlow's doesn't mean its good. Take your head outta your ass and give this a listen. The actual Album is good too, it has a bunch of great songs. Cept for the national anthem....

I used to love Iced Earth before The Glorious Burden. And I still like the pre-Glorious Burden -albums. It's not because of Owens, it's because the album just sounds like so many other metal albums out there with crappy lyrics. It has its moments anyways.
