Iron MaidenSince I never write anything really music related (or at all) here, I decided I would. So I'm looking at my top 15 artists according to total listens on my profile page. Let's go. (And I may actually be undeceive or pick multiple for some artists, heh.)
1. Warren Zevon - This is a hard one. But up top are definitely
Desperados Under the Eaves, Jeannie Needs a Shooter, Raspberry Beret (better than the original), Poor Poor Pitiful Me, and I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, to name just a few—I like all his stuff! (You wonder why he's my top played?)
2. They Might Be Giants - Another hard one (there will be a lot of these). I'll sayAna Ng, Climbing the Walls, Birdhouse in Your Soul, New York City, Take Out The Trash, Snail Shell, Sleeping in the Flowers, etc. There are waaaay too many. All of they're stuff is good. Definitely my favorite band of all time.
3. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Let me start off with saying that I hate people who just label this band as 'Jimi Hendrix.' He did do stuff on his own as well as his Band of Gypsys project. The Gypsys were fairly short-lived, so I can understand mis-tagging on those, but the Experience was such an influential band with 3 studio albums I don't see why so many people shun the Redding and Mitchell. *sigh* Oh well... This one is difficult too; All Along The Watch Tower,Burning Of The Midnight Lamp, Voodoo Child (Slight Return), Voodoo Chile, Purple Haze, Manic Depression, arg, so many more, but this is supposed to be a favorite song...
4. Rage Against the Machine - I'd love too see these guys in concert... ButGuerrilla Radio and Calm Like a Bomb are my favorite hands-down.
5. DragonForce - Never listen to them anymore, butBlack Winter Night was tops.
6. Iron Maiden - Best metal out there.2 Minutes to Midnight, The Trooper, The Prisoner, and Run to the Hills kick ass.
7. R.E.M. - Nightswimming by far. But I like all of their stuff.
8. Bob Dylan - The Times They Are A-Changin', Quinn the Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn), Blowin' in the Wind, Hurricane, among others.
9. HammerFall - Don't listen to them at all anymore. Meh.Hearts on Fire and Genocide were catchy.
10. Nirvana -Lithium, duh.
11. Daft Punk -One More Time, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, Human After All, and Digital Love.
12. Gorillaz -Rock the House, Double Bass, Demon Days, Dare, and Dirty Harry (Schtung Chinese New Year Remix).
13. The Beatles - Octopus's Garden, It's All Too Much, Norwegian Wood, and With a Little Help From My Friends
14. XTC -Senses Working Overtime, Grass, and Dear God
15. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Fortune Faded by a long shot.
