Wow, I soooo many of his songs. I guess I'd have to say Annie's Song because I wish I could inspire love (and/or a song) like that. Then again, Pattie Boyd was a dumb slut who was not v. pretty, and 2 of my other favorite love songs are about her. Annie's Song is different though, it's just so personal.

Now I have wasted about an hour looking through my music charts. YAY!

bought The Sufferer and the Witness by Rise Against. pretended to be hardcore. wore shirts that said: Senses Fail, Underoath, Hawthorne Heights, From First to Last. went to my first concert - taste of chaos to see 30 Seconds to Mars, Chiodos, & Saosin. learned you could check out CDs from the library, 'borrowed' Dashboard Confessional's A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar and Mae's The Everglow. friend sherri taught me I Will Follow You Into the Dark on the guitar.

9th grade:
put mae and dashboard confessional on repeat, decided i liked them. bought Daphne Loves Derby & The Spill Canvas based on itunes reccomendations. got My Name Is Jonas by Weezer stuck in my head thanks to guitar hero. played a marching band show featuring Styx & The Beatles; discovered classic rock. learned to appreciate Simon and Garfunkel and a little James Taylor. fell in love with the napoleon dynamite soundtrack and 80s.

First is The Righteous Brothers, Unchained Melody. I think this song has the power to make a grown man weep (have you ever seen one/made one weep? It's not pretty.)

I know, people like hate this song because of Ghost, but I thought the movie made the song more popular, so by all means let it be known to people as the pottery wheel scene (it was hot anyway). I think this song is hot too, especially when the high note is hit. It's just that yearning and that desire to be touched. Hot.

Running down the list, John Denver - Annie's Song. One of his most popular songs and for good reason. The simple folk melody, earnest metaphors, a plucking guitar, and some good "mmmms" makes this song so down to earth. If any man sang this to his sweetheart...

Moving along, Journey - Faithfully. Journey in particular has a few good love tracks, Open Arms is one, but Faithfully is really has more depth and yearning to it (is it just me or do I like those yearning songs, haha). The notable lyric obviously, "I'm forever yours... faithfully." Wow.

Now for some old school R&B, takes me back, is K-Ci & JoJo - All My Life. Is this not a beautiful song? That beginning piano tune, great harmonies, very soulful lyrics. It's all there.
