I was lucky enough to Laura in London (100 club - great venue) and she and the band were great. I just love Carbon Glacier...it reminds me of Puget Sound which i visited on my honeymoon.

i saw her live last year in manchester and it was amazing, the whole band were wearing these cute outfits with sailor stuff and flowers on them, it was awesome. and, my friend and sister and i met karl blau and laura afterwards, theyre really great, nice people :)

love her to death! and i think her american accent is cool...it's a part of who she is after all. would you be annoyed at bob dylan's accent? he's one of the greatest songwriters of our time (alongside john lennon). his nationality is a part of who he is. as well as laura.
