Biyografi

Led Zeppelin İngiliz Rock grubudur ve BBC tarafından «Rock çağının en etkili gruplarından birisi» olarak adlandırılmıştır. Led Zeppelin, gitarda Jimmy Page, davulda John Bonham, bas gitarda John Paul Jones ve solist olarak da Robert Plant tarafından dört kişilik bir grup olarak kurulmuştur.Grup, Deep Purple ve Black Sabbath ile Hard Rock ve Heavy Metal’in öncülerinden sayılır.

1968 yılında kurulan grup daha çok Heavy Metal müzik tarzlarının öncülerinden biri olarak tanınsalar da yaptıkları müzikle Blues, Rockabilly, Soul, Funk, Kelt, Hint, Arap ve hatta Latin müzik de dahil olmak üzere birçok farklı popüler müzik türünü aynı potada erittiler. Popüler ve kolay erişilebilir kalmakla beraber istikrarlı bir şekilde yenilikçi olunabileceğini de kanıtlamışlardır. 1980 yılında John Bonham’ın ölümüyle dağılan grup hâlâ Rock müzik tarihindeki etkileri nedeniyle saygı görmeye devam etmektedir.

Grup, bu güne kadar 109,5 milyonu Amerika’da olmak üzere dünya genelinde toplam 300 milyon albüm satışına ulaşmıştır (Amerika’da satış sıralamasında The Beatles’ın ardından ikinci sıradadır).

    Yeah, those druggie epics are liek so amazing!!11 If you're stuck 70 years in the past or something like that. That explains why the majority of their fanbase are either basement metaltards or middle aged balding men still trying to live in the past with god awful music and will most likely end up committing suicide at 55 when they realize they're stuck in a dead end job with a wife who's cheating on them with the gardener.
