Lit Kaliforniya/ABD’li post grunge grubu. 1990 yılında kurulan grup 1999’da «A Place in the Sun» adındaki albümleriyle platinum başarısı elde etmiştir. 2004 yılında çıkardıkları son albümden sonra grup sessizliğe büründü.

    People seem to live off the past too much. "A place in the Sun" and "Atomic" are alot better then the latest album but it's a good album. Bands change, people change. I actually like it like that. No one want's the same album six times over do they? I love the new Eve 6 album but they sound pretty much the same. "The View from the bottom" will stick in peoples minds longer because it's the sound of a band that has matured. And how anyone can say it sounds like Simple Plan is beyond me.

    I still think this album is not so great as what I was expecting as 'a Lit album' and I honestly didn't like how the band is sounding on it. Just MY personal opinion. I REALLY wish them ALL the success in the world and I still LOVE ALL of the other things they did before - because to ME they are waaaaaaay better than what they did now - just sayin'...

    Ok, we all have our own taste in music. Btw, I hope this album, with its poppy sound, will put the band under the spotlight, so we don't have to wait another 8 years for the next release (and hoping it'll please everyone of us).

    Not as good as they used to be. Sad, but true. Sorry. Fire whoever produced this album and don't follow 'trends'. Don't worry about getting a new teenage audience, by sounding like most of today's damn teen 'so called rock bands'. Just make some good and old rock and if the songs are good, your true fans will ALWAYS be there. It's ok to 'explore new sounds', 'evolve technically' and it's natural to sound differently than 10 years ago, but... this new albun is NOT sounding like Lit. It's sounding 'generic', like any regular (and annoying) teen ' rock' band... I'm gonna keep listening to the old stuff every day (as I've always did anyway) until they release a NEW and GOOD album - this one REALLY sucked. \õ/

    Simple Plan yeah but Mcfly is going too far. they just wont capture the greatness of 'A Place In The Sun' and 'Atomic' ever again. like most bands that are still going never do better than their first few albums.

    Yay the new songs made it into the top played songs of last week. I don't think the 2004 album ever did that, those songs always stayed way below if I recall it correctly. So in that respect, the album's already a success ;)
