I haven't come across ANY other dark ambient project that evokes the same feelings as Lustmord does. It's amazing, magical even. I've tried listening to atrium carceri, kammarheit and various other projects, but they just didn't grab me like Lustmord did. I've been listening to Lustmord for many years, and I still haven't become bored of any of his stuff. With every new listen, a new journey. It's pretty fucking awesome, tbh.

Well his recent one, The Dark Place of the Earth, is a remix of OTHER with all the guitar removed. It's much more subtle so that might be possibility. I think Heresy is generally considered to be his best work though.

Probably not, unless it's the overt rock/metal feel OTHER had you didn't like, in which case you might prefer Heresy's simplicity.
