Biyografi

Mudvayne Groove Metal dalında müzik yapan Amerikalı metal grubu. Grubun davulcusu Matthew McDonough grubun müziğini «Math Metal» olarak tanımlamaktadır. Yani «Matematiksel Metal». Bunun nedeni ise bir şarkıyı yaratırken notalarının ve ezgilerinin arasında matematiksel işlem yapmalarıdır. Grup 1996 yılında Illinois şehrinde kurulmuştur.

Posted March 27th, and their guitarist said it is on hiatus. Ryan martinie needs a new main band I think...he was mentioning the possibility of doing solo material with Mudvayne's drummer, and I hope that happens. Also, outside of stuff like maybe LD 50, I don't hear any nu metal influence in djent, not even in Hacktivist. Both genre names are pretty pointless, though...one is math metal and the other was rap rock. Why I file bands like Mudvayne as alternative metal.

I think the "djent" movement has to acknowledge that a lot of the sound today is heavily influenced by "Nu-metal" bands. [3]

LD 50 is their best album, 14 years later and it still holds up! I think the "djent" movement has to acknowledge that a lot of the sound today is heavily influenced by "Nu-metal" bands. Never really cared for the tags to me metal is metal. \\m/

L.D. 50 & The End of All Things to Come = Phenomenal. Lost and Found = pretty good The New Game & s/t = *facepalm* [4] Although, the title track in The New Game is effing badass, so that makes it a little less facepalm than their self-titled album.

v the question is... why did he post it on April 1st? Can't pick a day when people will be more likely to believe what he says? XD

So given how much of an immature ingrate Mudvayne's guitarist is being on their Facebook page (and he's in his mid 30s, even if the fans can be obnoxious on there they just want a sign of life from the band!) I'm going to go out on a limb and say Mudvayne is dead. Just unofficially dead. The sighs started that passion was being lost in Lost and FOund for me and the tragedy is that if Chad and their guitarist really want to try, they could make something like a mix of the self-titled's technicality with the first two albums' strong rhythms.

I think Beyond the Pale doesn't get enough love...have you guys heard that bass intro? It was one of the few truly great moments on the self-titled.

Know Forever is one of the most ruthless, spine-breaking songs I've ever heard in my life. They should really make more tracks like that

Ok, the Pantera-wannabe-southernshit-kidding with Hellyeah is over? I want a new album.

The End Of All Things To Come is their most mature album. LD50 was a brilliant debut, L&F isn't bad, but TEOATTC was a whole another space. Kinda sad they didn't explore a bit more like they did then. Chad and Greg are too much into Hellyeah for Mudvayne to be a story for itself.

Haha, I never know The Beginning of All Things to End was so NU. Ryan joining the band definitely added a lot overall.
