Era Vulgaris has a more industrial/robotic (before people start crying that i say industrial, i use the term loosely) type of sound to it in comparison to the other albums, however like the guy below me says QOTSA are yet to make a bad album. The change is not a weakening of the overall quality. All QOTSA albums subtly change their sound. I guess the next album will as different as the one that preceded it.

pity they changed so much. 'era vulgaris' is so weak when compared to their first magnificent three (not mentioning splits). and 'mexicola' should be way higher.
