    @comicsnut I can always admire the simplicity in their musical structure while complexity is laid underneath in a way that makes the music totally enjoyable listening to. Unlike recent Dream Theater Nick Van Dyk and the other guys never come up with unrelated instrumental parts and effortless tries to make music long. Nick Van Dyk just knows where to go and man, he does it excellently. Music seems to be floating in his mind while he makes them a solid powerful progressive metal. He's one of the best music arrangers and composers i've ever known!

    #aaamiri Agreed. The torch has been passed from DT to these guys. No vocalist in the world can convey the emotion behind these lyrics like Alder.

    @Cynnicio That is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. All due respect, you have great taste in music...but Adler is an incredibly emotional singer. And Van Dyk writes some damn emotional songs.

    These guys are amazing, one of my current favs. Also @Zabri_again___ Redemption is well aware of DT's albums. Take a listen to Stream Of Consciousness Songwriting Contest. The best track on that album belongs to Redemption.

    This Mortal Coil - back cover: "A collection of songs originally recorded by other artists that one would not expect would be performed by a progressive metal band; 1. Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding". oh really? what about Dream Theater? they already did that :) just saying that Redemption probably don't know DT's albums well. (just in case you're wondering, it's on A Change of Seasons)
