The other thing is that if you live in eastern Europe, you can buy CDs of some artists only on foreign net sites and you have to pay the price twice - for CD and for sending it from (for example) USA. But this is not a forum about downloading - I just wanted to say that hmm... Swallow the Sun makes my soul cry for rescue (that was a complement xD)

due_friday I don't want to waste my money on something i can easily get for free. I live in a country with average European prices and fucking 450$ as average salary. My 1k$ salary is considered as good but the truth is that i can hardly manage my own living with it. Yeah, basically in my country downloading music or other media is not considered as illegal. That saves me 2-3k$ every month, lol. xD I can't even earn enough money to legally purchase HALF of my monthly downloads ><

I cannot believe people are justifying downloading music from the internet. I mean, I do it, too, but I still dont think its right. I try to get EVERY CD I only have as mp3s - I download to preview, not to own. its true, that to many dickheads in the industry get paid this way, too, but voluntarily donating the artists will not work, since people in general are to greedy. so grow up, stop paying for cigarettes and instead invest the money in good music

@immax: Yeah that's a good point but I'd just like to have a physical copy of it. My main hobby is collecting CDs and I'm pretty obsessive with them so I like to buy pretty much all the releases that I can by my favourite artists and then download whatever I can't find or is too expensive.
