Yeah Bolshevized and you whats really annoying? The versions of some tracks from HTDAAB that are on the Unreleased and Rare album are actually so so much better than the album cuts its unbeleivable. Basically Ive come round on that period in terms of what U2 were doing. Go listen to that Unreleased album to tracks like Xanax and Wine (which became Fast Cars, a song I hate but this version is awesome) or Native Son (which became Vertigo but this version is lyrically deeper and vocally and musically far superior) but these awesome version of those tracks were ultimately changed to the inferior ones we have on HTDAAB. Its amazingly frustrating.

Terrasidius, I was just going to say the same thing. This decade has been so disappointing for U2. Their albums haven't been terrible (and I actually think All That You Can't Leave Behind is fairly solid, albeit entirely safe), but they aren't groundbreaking like their earlier ones either. RIP U2.

Until 99 or 00, they were the very best, POP was their last GREAT album. And all real U2 fans, for one thing, know about and like the Passengers project from 1995. Cus its awesome too. :D I really have high hopes for the future though, every band is allowed a few slip up albums, U2 have had theirs in ATYCLB and HTDAAB. the new one is great but nopt quite amazing. Still I reckon that they are back on track.
