Wayne Shorter++++,Paradigma del saxo de lenguaje mutante,se nos muestra en 1964 como un músico que cumple las espectativas de nada más y nada menos que de Miles Davis.Con Speak no Evil,Shorter nos muestra su capacidad para componer bajo su propio proyecto.Los temas tienen una unión temática que hacen del disco una obra redonda.Folklore,Fairie Tales y misterio se entremezclan entre sus títulos (Witch Hunt o Dance Cadaverous hablan por sí solos)Sus acompañantes Freddie Hubbard o Herbie Hancock están también en su mejor momento creativo y la sección rítmica(R.Carter y E.Jones)es de auténtico lujo.
