Polish metal is not a genre and britpop haves a distinctive sound. Some japanese rock bands might have a similar unique sound for "j-rock" but overall this is a generic term that says the band does any variant of rock and are japanese. They should put more specific tags on their bands to help potential listeners know how they sound like but something tells me that some of the fans of said "genre" don't know anything about music when I see a band like Schwarz Stein with J-rock as one of their top tags.
