Solely based on Cowboy Bebop-jazz, try Stan Kenton stuff (Cuban Fire!, Live at Butler University, Adventures in Jazz), and try Flat Earth Society. Get back to us at the jazz desk with your feelings towards those cats, and we can provide even more rec's.

Favorite BNL song is REAL tough... It's usually a toss up between [track artist=barenaked ladies]Falling for the First Time[/track] and [track artist=barenaked ladies]Pinch Me[/track] with Falling for the first time having a slight lead. I think [track artist=barenaked ladie]Bull in a China shop[/track] is my favorite from their most recent album. If you ask my favorite song from their very first album [album artist=barenaked ladies]Gordan[/album] which you must certainly listen to if you are going to go BNL, it is [track artist=barenaked ladies]Enid[/track]. Of my 344 BNL tracks 79=5 stars, 114=4 star. I don't usually star my live versions over three unless they are much different from their originals. Whew. Sorry so long... LOVE Barenaked Ladies! Falling for the first time is my favorite BNL song because it was an anthem during Vet school after exams (sang Karaoke) it let me know it was okay to do bad ;-)

No problem. The wife is swamped anyway, so how fast she'd respond would be up in the air anyway. Hope the bed rest goes okay.

I don't have personal sheep herding knowledge. My wife knows more, and we have a trainer we work with in Iowa. Sheep, Ducks, goats, Cattle. I Could PM you my wife's email and have you contact her if you'd like.

Jeah I know Josh Ritter. Haven't had the time to listen that much recently though which really is a bitch. Living in a tiny dorm in China makes it a bit hard sometimes =) Have you heard Cracklin' Moth? New band, quite promising acutally. www.cracklinmoth.com/

Duke's a good looking dog, Alisa. What title did he get before he got bored with flyball?

Regina you just sort of have to listen to for a while if you're not into her right off. The song that got me into her was Samson. Also, yay for Old 97's, and such.

well regina spektor is who I consider a aquired taste. Its obscure and unique at first but amazing later on. I would suggest the song Us for starters or maybe you are like me-My first Spektor love was Chemo Limo. to get a full stretch of what she has to offer I would suggest getting both of those and trying them ou

Thanks for the recomendation, I just downloaded a few of their songs. Which album would you suggest I start off with, because the songs I've listned to so far sounded pretty good and they sound like a band i could really get into.
