Before I plummet back into the land of the workers - like tomorrow - I thought I'd drop by and say 'hello' to my sweet, lovely friend who has been so kind to me since I lost Hobie. Had a super day today with all this sunshine. I wish you a wonderful week ahead and let the sun continue, she says with hope in her voice. Hugsssssssss TheE XO

Sorry you couldn't listen. When I run into such a problem I use to find the tracks either on YouTube or at a place called www.rdio.com. It's a bit like spotify, but they are more "large" and will let you listen to rather much free tracks every month :`)) They--at least have the Whole Removing album :) Thanks for having the needed energy to endure all my babbling ;`) Hugs back to you!!

Good Morning!! It's exciting to see other people's "lists of priority" ;`) I see that we listen to much of the same bands, but surely our "entrances" are different. I've never been a chooser--- rather just run into bands/tracks by pure luck. Moving through the stuff like some Billy Pilgrim. I've always had a soft spot for what we used to call Jazzbeat. From Focus, The Flock and Blood, Sweat and Tears to names I've run into more recently ; like Magma, National Health (which you also have), Cos and Moving Gelatine Plates ---Which are my favourites ( a.o.) ;`))) I guess that Moving Gelatine Plates are the "softies" among the French and Belgian wierdings but they are so skilled. Esp. the album "Removing". (Ok--in my oppinion) If you don't know it already-you certainly should give it a try :`)))))

Hey!! I felt free to take a walk in your library ;`)) And then I noticed your poem :) :))) It really smells of horse ;`) Shire or Clydesdale-- according to the feathers ;`))) I simply love horses--and ploughing the fields with them. It's finally spring in DK--though a rather cold spring. There's too much clay in the soil right here and it still contends loads of water so everything heavier than a "shitland" pony will sink like an anchor ;`))) Have a nice evening. Bitten

Thank you Paul for your lovely words, I am feeling very desolate, I can't believe what a big hole there is in my life right now. Hobie was the very best chap, he was more than a dog - I felt his pain from Tuesday onwards and didn't associate it with him until he passed away and the pain in my side went with him........ that's how close our bond was. If there is a doggie heaven God will have opened the doors wide to let him in.....

WITHOUT MUSIC I WITHER AND DIE....................... STILL REACHING OUT FOR THAT SOUND...............................

When evening falls
She'll run to me
Like whispered dreams
Your eyes can't see
Soft and warm
She'll touch my face
A bed of straw
Against the lace

We believed we'd catch the rainbow
Ride the wind to the sun
Sail away on ships of wonder
But life's not a wheel
With chains made of steel
So bless me come the dawn
Come the dawn

Iron-clad, feather-feet pounding the dust On October’s day, towards evening Sweat embossed veins standing proud to the plough Salt on a deep chest, seasoning
Last of the line at an honest day’s toil Turning the deep sod underFlint at the fetlock, chasing the boneFlies at the nostrils plunder
The Suffolk, the Clydesdale, the Percheron vieWith the shire on his feathers, floating Hauling soft timber into the dusk To bed on a warm straw coating
Heavy horses move the land under meBehind the plough gliding, slipping and sliding freeAnd now you’re down to the few and there’s no work to doThe tractor’s on its way
Let me find you a filly for your proud stallion seedsTo keep the old line goingAnd we’ll stand you abreast at the back of the woodsBehind the young trees growing
To hide you from eyes that mock at your girthYou’re eighteen hands at the shoulderAnd one day when the oil barons have all dripped dry And the nights are seen to draw colder
They’ll beg for your strength, your gentle powerYour noble grace and your bearingAnd you’ll strain once again to the sound of the gullsIn the wake of the deep plough, sharing
Heavy horses move the land under meBehind the plough gliding, slipping and sliding free And now you’re down to the few and there’s no work to doThe tractor’s on its way
Standing like tanks on the brow of the hillUp into the cold wind facingIn stiff battle harness, chained to the worldAgainst the low sun racing
Bring me a wheel of oaken woodsA rein of polished leatherA heavy horse and a tumbling skyBrewing heavy weather
Bring a song for the eveningClean brass to flash the dawnAcross these acres glisteningLike dew on a carpet lawn
In these dark towns, folk lie sleepingAs the heavy horses thunder bySo wake the dying cityWith the living horseman’s cry
At once the old hands quickenBring pick and wisp and curry combThrill to the sound of all theHeavy horses coming home
Iron-clad, feather-feet pounding the dustOn October’s day, towards eveningSweat embossed veins standing proud to the ploughSalt on a deep chest, seasoning
Bring me a wheel of oaken woodsA rein of polished leatherA heavy horse and the tumbling skyBrewing heavy weather
Heavy horses move the land under meBehind the plough gliding, slipping and sliding free And now you’re down to the few and there’s no work to doThe tractor’s on its way
Oh, heavy horses move the land under meBehind the plough gliding, slipping and sliding freeAnd now you’re down to the few and there’s no work to doThe tractor’s on its way
Oh, heavy horses move the land under meBehind the plough gliding, slipping and sliding free And now you’re down to the few and there’s no work to doThe tractor’s on its way
Now heavy horses move the land under meBehind the plough gliding, slipping and sliding free
