Went to the Reading Festival on the Sunday and saw;

• Goldie Looking Chain - very funny. Crowd went wild. If I knew any of the words it would have helped but most entertaining.


• Slayer - GGGRRRRRGRRRRRRG!!!!!!! Ticked off the list.


• Placebo - very good. Excellent cover of Running Up That Hill. Brian's a grumpy old git though - no banter, not even after an unexplained halt in proceedings half way through. Still, even Alison liked them and she hates his whiny voice.


• Pearl Jam - 10/10. Played an awesome 2 hour set. First time I've seen them (hopefully not the last). Crowd were well up for it. I now understand the point of all of the post-Ten records and am a born-again Pearl Jam fan. And the mp3s were available for download from their website for a nominal charge. Great band!!
