When James Durbin opened his mouth during the Season Ten auditions for American Idol, he let out a rock ‘n roll scream that blew the hair back on Stephen, Jennifer and Randy’s heads (ok, maybe not Randy’s head) and echoed across the living rooms of millions of American homes. Throughout the season, he won over fans’ hearts with his mastery of the heavy metal vocal style and his drive to overcome personal obstacles that include Tourette syndrome and Asperger’s syndrome.
Soon after his 4th place finish on Idol, Durbin headed into the studio to record what would become his debut album Memories Of A Beautiful Disaster. Street Date was honored to host James Durbin for this exclusive studio session which includes his first two singles and “Stand Up” and “Love Me Bad.”
