yeah I'm new too it lol, it's mostly come out of just seeking chill-out music with solid melodies that is not intrusive lol, predominately listen to it while sleep-deprived! Anyone else I should check out, I liked your songs, got them all here: sine in the rain, and childs play of what I have properly listened to so far.

At this stage I don't like Boeoes Kaelstigen as much though it has more of a beat dominated house feel as opposed to slower atmospheric feel based on strong and melodies in strange formats! I am still listening to Boeoes Kaelstigen perhaps it will grow on me but it's not as good as Planktron, perfect late night music. I should probably declare at this point I know F all about house music/techno hahaha

Think drinkify says that for everyone. Some artists they don't have music for but it's free so pretty sweet I'd say.

Pretty awesome music you guys make. I "liked" it. As for me, my Progressive Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band is done, we're not even going to make it to the NYC show. :/. But I got a new project I've been keeping up my sleeve for quite some time, it's called Ghostscape. Keep on the lookout for that in a couple months or so. :)

Hey man, my band Continents has just released two songs entitled Dreams and Six of the worst. Our music is similar to those of The ghost inside, For the fallen dreams and It prevails . We would really appreciate if you checked it out, and gave us some support. You can find them on our facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Continents/161153990618603

Yeah whoa O_O We're still very similar, from all of that MeloDeath from before to even now when I barely listen Metal anymore and I'm more on the Hardcore side. And I agree with what you said about Common Dreads. Also, looking from the recent singles, I feel like their next may be their best.

I agree with you. Most of my crunk plays are left over from when I was a hardcore scene kid. I actually deleted a lot of them, Dot Dot Curve, which I actually still enjoy. And the bands I think I'm going to hell for listening to at some point in time, Blood on the Dance Floor, Jeffree Star, etc etc. I have met brokenCYDE though and I have to admit I think most of their douchebaggery and toolness is just an act to push albums and tickets. That whole demographic of teens trying to piss off their parents just eat that up. And I'm the same way with hip hop, I usually only listen to the old school stuff, eazy-e and the like, grime, or the rhymesayer stuff like Sage Francis and aesop rock. It's the only hip hop I feel has some sort of heart and soul and/or deep thought put into it.

I think the local scene everywhere is metalcore and deathcore right now, which I have no problem with. It just starts getting annoying when all the people you meet only listen to metalcore and even then they have a very limited list of artists they listen to or know. And the most recent BMTH album is probably their only work worth listening to, their earlier stuff is extremely subpar deathcore, then Suicide Season is just an atrocious work of attempted metalcore which would have been better if it was released in 2000. But the new album is very unique for metalcore, and actually quite ambient. But anyways, most of the local bands here are metalcore or post-hardcore, and crunkcore. -.- Trying to see if they can capitalize on the success of Breathe Carolina and 3oh!3. I don't know your opinions on the genre but at least artists like brokenCYDE are somewhat listenable, these kids don't even understand how to program loops right.

haha.. oh good, I've been extremely obsessed with them as of late, but most of the hardcore kids at my school can't stand them at all. But yes, Grey Britain is definitely a masterpiece especially the more melodic parts. And I still listen to and enjoy chiptune on occasion can't listen to it for hours on end like I used to, but I'll definitely check out some of your stuff when I get home.

Well I personally consider melodic hardcore and hardcore 2 very different genres. I'd definitely be okay with them being considered melodic hardcore, But I just don't see any deep hardcore styles consistent in their releases, especially with the most popular ones. I just don't like seeing people thinking that's the only thing hardcore punk has to offer, because it's no where near that, even in the modern scene. And I'm sorry for coming across as a dick earlier. But I'm curious. What are your opinions on Gallows?

i was saying actual hardcore, as opposed to Rise Against. I mean I'll give you their old stuff, but their new stuff since they sold out is pure alternative. And you're the one being condescending saying I don't know what hardcore punk is. My charts are absolutely no indication of my musical taste or knowledge.

Haha, I knew it. ha. Isn't it amazing they weren't even that big when they were at their peak? If you liked... ok loved ATDI, I would definitely recommend Brazil. They are a cross between ATDI & The Mars Volta. Post hardcore, but with progressive elements. I've only heard their last album so I recommend that one.

haha, I'll admit I got a little mad when you said "laughable" lmao, but it's been a long day so you know how that is. Poe is rookie, so with time he'll hopefully scrape off the edges he has. But you do have to admit, how many rap songs about that have you actually heard? not many. You just used the perfect word to describe Sparta, decent. BTW, the last song I'm playing for the night is not directed at you, lmao, I really did want to listen to it right now, hahaha.

It surprised me that he picked that song as the song to make the video for. Good song, but nowhere near his best. You completely got the wrong vibe about Poe, "real rap" is what he is. Maybe not content wise, because Poe doesn't get "geeky" but lyrically I thought you might like Poe if you liked Del. For flexing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXtQOn5z7Tk&p=C3FC09E7623DC915 and for originality, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpoYBD7-91c . I'm not trying to get you to like him, but yo, you can't bring that to my page, haha. Inertiatic esp... it has begun.. *evil laugh* Man, I used to listen to some Sparta about a year ago, what did you think about it?

Doom I've just gotten into about two weeks ago, & Del I haven't heard enough from. Hip hop, try Poe Picasso out, his music video just dropped today & it's his first, if you like Del then you might like Poe, but he's different than him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykDdKtC6Qcc

Well, I listened to nothing but hip hop today in the car, haha. But tomorrow, I'll make sure to switch it up some. Mars Volta is great, If you say your not ready, then your probably not. MV is serious, not everybody can "take" it. jk. I got into MV via ATDI, so make sure you let ATDI sink in. But the bands are almost polar opposites.
