Hi there! I hate to come to you as a stranger asking a favor, but since we share so many artists in common I figure you're probably of a similar mind to me as well, and understand the need for community and word of mouth in spreading the news about new artists. I sing, play some guitar for, and play the drums for a doom/rock band called Darkest Ritual. We've been compared to bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, and Queens of the Stone Age. We've been using last.fm as a way to spread our music around the world for free. We believe that music should always be free to listen to, and that asking the people whom you are trying to reach for money is just bullshit. Anyway, we just released our new album "Lying in Wait" for free on our last.fm page and our new homepage www.darkestritual.com in mp3 and AAC format.
