Narrow Stais opens with Ben channeling Jack Kerouac, looking for something, anything that confirms that there is something after this life, and yet he finds that his soul didnot exist. Therefore there is nothing. Then you move into a song about stalking someone. No Sunlight states "the optimst died inside me" Cath... as a woman in a dead in marriage that will go nowhere. And she'll hate every moment in it. Grapevine Fires recounts the story of a young girl dancing in a field of graves while her mom is getting drunk AND the world is on fire around them. I mean I could go on, but I'm guessing that you get the picture. They are more like Leonard Cohen, or hell, Ian Curtis at this point. Plans is filled with songs that have a gooey sentiments to them. I guess I really was not at a lose for words after all.
